Unpaid / Volunteer Position | Approx. 2–5 hours per month | Remote

Overview:
FCM is seeking passionate, creative, and committed members to join our Social Media Committee. This committee plays a vital role in shaping the public voice of FCM, building awareness of our mission, and fostering connection across our vibrant, diverse community of spiritual leaders and faith communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other committee members to develop and implement a social media content calendar across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)

  • Create or curate content that aligns with FCM’s mission, values, and current activities—including posts highlighting members, promoting events, sharing inspirational messages, and more

  • Assist in monitoring FCM’s social media platforms, responding to comments and messages as appropriate, and flagging any concerns

  • Help develop and maintain FCM’s voice and tone online, ensuring consistency and inclusivity in messaging

  • Stay informed of relevant trends in faith-based and nonprofit digital communications

  • Participate in monthly virtual committee meetings and occasional ad hoc planning sessions

Qualifications:

  • Passion for FCM’s mission of inclusive, Spirit-led ministry and social justice

  • Strong written communication skills, with an eye for clarity, tone, and visual storytelling

  • Familiarity with major social media platforms

  • Ability to work independently and meet light monthly deadlines

  • Creativity, collaboration, and a willingness to experiment and learn

Time Commitment:
Approximately 2–5 hours per month. This includes participation in monthly committee meetings, content development, and platform engagement.
