Marketing Resources and Identity Guidelines

We believe that powerful marketing will help bring continued success for your ministry. Use these identity guidelines to effectively promote your ministry’s availability and relationship with FCM while remaining compliant with FCM’s brand guidelines.

Legal Requirements

Use the appropriate credit lines in all communications worldwide, listing all FCM intellectual property and services included in your communication and advertising. Include the credit lines only once your communication or website, and place the credit lines wherever you provide legal notification (such as in a footer, or end of your document). Follow standard practices for the placement of legal copy, such as creating additional screens or providing interactive links. When a FCM badge is being used, credit both FCM and the FCM logo.

Graphic Standards for Badges

Minimum clear space is equal to one-quarter the height of the badge. Don’t place photos, typography, or other graphic elements inside the minimum clear space.

Minimum badge height is 10 mm for use in printed materials and 40 px for use onscreen. Select a size that is clearly legible but not dominant in the layout.

When the badge is placed on advertising with very limited layout space, such as banners for mobile devices, select a badge size that is clearly legible on the target mobile devices. Minimum clear space for very limited layout space is equal to one-tenth the height of the badge.

For printed materials, the badge can be printed in one color if black and white inks are not used on the layout. The line art portion of the badge can be printed in the ink color used on the layout as long as it provides sufficient contrast for clear legibility.

Faith Community Badges

Include FCM Faith Community badges in all digital and printed marketing materials as a clear indication of your community’s relationship with FCM.

Preferred Badge Style

Use the preferred badge in all marketing communications promoting your community or ministry. The border surrounding the badge is part of the badge artwork and should not be modified. Whenever one or more badges or other iconography/logos for other faith traditions or ecclesiastical affiliations appear in the layout, use the preferred badge. Place the FCM badge first in the lineup of badges.

Alternate Badge Styles

The alternative badge is designed to give you greater versatility and can be used when the preferred badge appears visually incorrect in the layout. The alternative badge is suitable when only one badge appears in the layout and when it complements the colors used in the layout. If badges for other affiliations platforms appear in your communication, use the preferred badge, not the alternative badge.

Member Badge Styles

Use the preferred badge in all marketing communications promoting your ministry. The border surrounding the badge is part of the badge artwork and should not be modified. Whenever one or more badges or other iconography/logos for other faith traditions or ecclesiastical affiliations appear in the layout, place the FCM badge first in the lineup of badges/icons.
