Called to Expansive Ministry.

Our mission is to cultivate a place of radical belonging that equips spiritual leaders and faith communities to transform the world through expansive ministries.

Community & Direct Investment

We are an ecumenical network connecting ministers, chaplains, spiritual leaders, and local faith communities into a shared place of radical belonging. Beyond relational support, we put values into action by providing grants to directly fund innovative ministry projects, support member needs, and resource local faith communities outside institutional walls.

Learning & Professional Development

We cultivate ongoing growth through webinars, continuing education, and seminary partnerships. From trauma-informed spiritual care to modern organizational leadership, our opportunities and partnerships equip leaders to navigate contemporary ministry with theological depth and practical skill.

Credentialing & Ecclesial Support

We provide recognized pathways for leadership through Commissioning (ordination) and Ecclesiastical Endorsement. Open to all without barriers of gender, orientation, or tradition, our credentials equip chaplains, spiritual care practitioners, and faith leaders to serve in healthcare, clinical, and community settings.

Recognized by ACPE, the VA, and all major certifying bodies.

Publishing & Member Voices

We amplify progressive, inclusive perspectives in the public square. Through Free Priests Press, our quarterly magazine Diaspora, and our member blog, we give our community a platform to share original writing, theology, and frontline experiences.

A community of Ministers

We are a community of people responding to the same Spirit of a new Pentecost that was in Jesus Christ. We are committed to embodying that Spirit in a rich diversity of ministries that lead to renewal and transformation in the communities we serve.

We are deeply committed to inclusion and our members represent diversity of race, gender identity, sexuality, lived experience, and socioeconomic status. We are an open and affirming organization and are committed to principles of social justice and peace. FCM seeks to serve people, not empire. Our ministers, chaplains, and faith communities exemplify this every day through their work healing, supporting, and uplifting those in need.

We pursue this goal by living and working through our values:

Compassion

Belonging

Empowerment

Equity

Mindful Living
